Billy and the rabbits by Dan

There once lived a rabbit and his wife and four kids. One day he went off to get some carrots for his children for dinner.  There was a man named Billy, he saw the rabbits and he took them home with him. He met his friend on the way home who was wearing a mauve jumper. When he reached home he saw his dad working on a steel car. His dad got angry when he saw him with the wild rabbits. The rabbits got a fright and went under the car and Billy was tearful when the rabbits ran to their burrow.

  1. Hi Dan,
What an inventive story you have written. It is truely unique. This story reminds me a small bit of the Roald Dahl book, Fantastic Mr fox. I think it is because of the way the rabbit was going out to do something and got caught, just like Mr Fox. Did Billy go after the rabbits again in an attempt to recapture them? Bye. Liam. 2. I’m so glad this story has a lovely happy ending. It reminded me of the Peter Rabbit series that I absolutely love. You did a great job of working in all the prompt words. Well done.

  3. I’m so glad that the rabbits managed to escape to their burrow, Dan! Why was dad so angry with Billy for bringing the rabbits home? Maybe he just didn’t like rabbits I guess! Good work, keep it up Dan!
